In the precision manufacturing of anodized aluminum coils, stringent standards present both a challenge and a testament to our technological prowess. Our collaboration with a Philippine client deeply involved in the energy industry vividly illustrates this point. This client, headquartered in the United States, focuses on the research and development and production of flywheels for the energy sector. The anodized aluminum coils we custom-supply are a key material for ensuring stable flywheel performance.
Given the critical role of flywheels in energy systems, the client placed near-extreme demands on raw materials. Not only did they specify that the anodized aluminum coils must be burr-free to ensure safety and precision in subsequent assembly, but they also set a stringent tolerance of 0.025mm to ensure structural stability under high-speed operation. Furthermore, they had precise parameters for the oxide layer thickness. Due to the unique design of the product, a single-sided anodizing process was required. This inherently challenging process presented technical challenges, such as difficulty controlling coating uniformity and avoiding edge effects, further increasing production complexity.
To fully align with their needs and deepen their partnership, the customer made a special visit to our company in 2020. During their visit, they toured our precision rolling workshop, anodizing production line, and quality inspection center, gaining a detailed understanding of our comprehensive process control system, from raw material selection to finished product shipment. Observing our micron-level burr removal achieved through imported precision equipment and our ability to manage tolerance fluctuations through real-time online inspection systems, the customer expressed strong recognition of our technical strength and quality control capabilities, laying a solid foundation for a long-term, stable partnership between the two parties.
